Anybody want to hit the Allegheny Forest in late August?

Allegheny National Forest- Recreational Activities

I've got a cabin just a couple miles down the road from the main trailhead. You'll need to have a registration sticker and insurance to get a trail pass (just $10 for a day pass). Of course there are also tons of non-sanctioned trails around too, from terribly-rocky-we-shouldn't-be-here-right-now to miles and miles of easy cruising on the dirt logging/oiling roads.

Just the atv trail, we had a few kids who didn't feel comfortable riding the bike trail

I'm not really sure. The people we were riding with were leading us around. We accually went to a few places I remembered from when I rode at the Rockygap area, and that was like 8 years ago, so we may have hit the timberline ttrail.

Was planning on going up there last weekend, but a last minute change of plans (buddy couldn't find his registration card for his ATV) sent us to Smithton instead, where I ended up rolling and fracturing my elbow.

I'm still gonna make it up to ANF soon damnit!!
