alright here is my problem. at the right rpm my engine sounds like it is not getting enough gas (sputters and coughs). it doesn't occur in neutral when i rev the engine up slow or in first gear only in 2 gear around the 29 mph and in 3 gear around the 47-50 mph range and it wont go any fast then 50 mph. the quad worked fin till the cam chain broke and i changed all the damaged parts. my thought are that my timing may be off 1 tooth but just what to get some other opinions on the problem before i start to rip the cylinder head off again. any opinions will be great thanks

what YR ? I would check the basics filter in the tank, good gas, clean air filter , hows the spark plug. I never been inside a 650 "guessing from your name" but if you just replace all that stuff its possible you could be off.
