[09RINCON]

Recently picked up my 09 Rincon, love it so far..started crawling aorund it and discovered a brass fitting with nothing connected to it on the bottom of the rear diff. Can't find that on my manual that I downloaded, getting ready to drain the rear end, hope that wasn't supposed to be capped or something. Can't be a breather being it's on the bottom. Somebody fill me in on what that is, or check the one that they have to see if I'm missing something. Just looks like an open tube right now, is that the drain for it? Thanks for your help.

My 04 has the same thing, I just replaced the complete rearend 6 months ago and there is no mention ot this in the shop manual or on line. Mine is not capped and I have not had a problem. Hope someone answers this so we can both learn. It should not be the drain since it has a drain plug in the bottom of the diff.

That's good to know...would still like to know what it is for or what it leads to? Anyone know, or not have this line on there rincon? Thanks for the reply jk, anyone else?

I have a 2005 and a 2008 rincon and they both have it and it isn't capped off either!
