This is an intermittent problem after I have been riding for the entire day. I stop for a 5 mins and when I restart, the engine bogs on full throttle. The most recent time, I was jumping some water breaks after riding all day and it was running fine. I got to a hill and only had 1/2 throttle and any more than that and it would just bog. It never missed, it was just bogging. I let it sit overnight and the next day, it ran fine. Is it possible to get a vapor lock or could the fuel pump be getting weak? I have almost 6000 miles and have never changed any of the fuel related parts. Any help would be appreciated.

2011 Honda bogging.

The model I have is a 2011 and it has fuel injection, no carb. Is it possible for the fuel pump to start putting out less pressure. It strange that is comes and goes as the day goes on. By the morning its ready to roll again with no issues. Any thoughts.

It sounds like the fuel pump might be running hot or is overloaded by a clogged pickup screen or filter. You can check fuel pressure with a gauge setup, but I'd change the filter first and see if that solves the problem. Let us know how it goes...

Check to see what the pressure is at WOT with a gage hooked up to the test port if it has one. (do it when you been riding for an hour or 2 when its nice and warmed up.

Everything is inside the sub-fuel tank canister. You can take that apart to clean the screens and clean all the junk in the bottom out. You can check the fuel flow volume and pump pressure both before & after as well.

Thanks for the help. I was pricing out a new one and its only $94 so I might just buy a new pump with new filters. Seems easier than trying to clean the old one.
That would be what I would do, and follow that up with fresh fuel and a good fuel system cleaner for 2 or 3 tank fulls or fuel, cause you wanna get any possible crud out and make sure the system is clean.
