there are a few places that have adverticed in south east ky not sure how far from you theres a place in lynnville In. old coal mine haven been there riding yet but drove my truck down there alot of trails and its free but it is state ground so check to make sure your legal with In. DNR

Some of these may be stretching the 2 hour mark but not by much. I get to Lexington in about 2 hours from outside of Middlesboro, KY.

Near Middlesboro you have Wilderness Trail Offroad Park.
There's Black Mountain in Evarts, KY.
Outside of Huntsville, TN is Brimstone Recreation.
You can also ride most of the Daniel Boone National Forest but I think just gravel roads.

Wish I could have been more help. For most of the "unofficial" riding spots a good place to start is to visit a few dealers and ask them where people ride. If the salesman is worth a shit he probably rides himself and can help you out.
