I saw a reusable oil filter on the net one day looking at parts and wondered if anyone has ever used one before or are they not any good. Thanks

i have seen oil filters like that before and i dont think they are any good.i only use factery oil filters on all my cars and atv and dirt bikes.I dont want the oil psi to drop beacuse of a none factery filter.the filtering abilty is inporint and i have seen filters come apart inside.

Cleaning the air filter is enough of a pain. I don't see myself willingly signing up to clean another type of filter.

Agreed^^^^^^ 8 bucks for a new oil filter. I don't think cleaning an oil filter is worth the cost of a new rebuild. A reusable oil filter is a BAD idea. IMO

agreed..i'd spend 8 bucks on a oil filter..before i spent 800 on a complete motor over haul !
