A few months ago I bought a 91 TRX 300. I probably overpaid for it, but it cranked and ran easily enough and looks ok, so I was satisfied with the price. It's worth what you're willing to pay, right?

Anyway, it doesn't look like I'll get any more hunting in this year, so I decided there's no reason to wait on restoring it. I have no idea what has ever been done to it, so assume nothing, right? I've got to fix the starter solenoid or something first, but when that's fixed where should I start?

New Battery (Done)
Change oil
Change oil filter
New Spark Plug
New Air Filter
New Fuel Filter

What else?

Well to be honest, it was sprinkling all day so they were a little damp. Makes the plastic look a little better than everyday. :D

I looked at that thread Wilson. $40 per month for pictures??? Why on earth would anyone do that when storage options are so cheap?
No idea Bull, I haven't looked into all that much, all i know is i can only post one pic at a time, it's a pain, but....... Free, IT does bother me to post that way, ........ Maybe when i get more time ill figure out how to do more than just one pic per post i guess it's the curse of using a ipad......

I did a little work over the last few days. I replaced the broken switch. Took me a while to figure out that some bullet proof wire connectors would be best. I also bought a battery tender and hardwired it to the battery. It's a nice trick. Much easier to trickle charge the battery now.

My choke switch is frozen in the full choke position. Think it hurts anything? Seems to crank and run fine, but I worry it will cause some damage to something longer term.
