I just installed my new angle sensor and saw a video that it was plug and play.....but then again this was on an older rancher sooooooo???? Was trying to hit up an off-road park this weekend to ride at the huge event upcoming but I was afraid I was gonna end up in this pinch.....need help asap please! As far as I know none of the wires are faulty or chewed by rats. The angle sensor it's self has an adjustment piece in it, in which it moves 180 instead of 360. The old one went 360. When I try to shift, it clangs but doesn't shift. I can tell it wants to but I just won't....could this also be the shift motor or could this be something more critical?????

2011 Ranchers are not old, they are quite young by my reckoning.

Having a 360 deg range on the angle sensor seems bad, 180 seems better.
I don't know why they would be different.

Sounds like you have a gear linkage problem. First try the manual shift tool.
Then read the post: "2000 Foreman 450 ES broken shift parts".
