thanks for a good forum with good answers. hoping someone can help. i bought a used 2006 honda rancher 350 with elect. shift. its in good shape beside the ignition will turn on with aany key or even a dime. i am in central america and could only get a aftermarket ignition which looks and fits the same, except the wires are much too short to reach harness. can i just splice the wires anywhere on the line and hook it back up, or is there a computer issue or something. much thanks

well..if you can tell what wire goes to what..then..yeah..splice the wires to reach..other than that..i don't see a problem.
