Replacement Fuel Screw

The fuel screw on my trx250x is a PITA to adjust and it likes to fall out. For a while, I've used high temperature tape under the carburetor to prevent the screw from rattling out, but I'm just tired of it. I've found a lot of these after market fuel screws for things like CRF150Rs, but I'm not sure it would work for a trx250x (2014). Does anyone know if the aftermarket screw pictured (bottom) would work, or if there is a similar one meant for the trx250x that would work? The original screw is the top one, but I'm sure you all knew that already (it isn't the exact one, but close enough).

They dont make one for a trx250x. And they mostlikely never will. The trx250x isnt a quad that really ever gets modified. So very few aftermarket companys make parts. This is generally a beginner quad used to teach people how to ride. But retro's suggestion of making your own is a solid idea. The problem i see with it is the factory screw is brass(very weak) and the aftermarket ones sold are billet aluminum(very very strong). The brass screw will mostlikely break. You can on the other hand get a pre-05 250ex carb rebuild kit and that will have a flat tip adjustable needle. 05 and after they put the D shaped one in to make it harder to adjust it. My .02
Not a bad suggestion! Very inventive! Haha.
