I need to replace the shift control motor. The service manual says to coat the control motor splines with a molybdenum oil solution. What is this? I usually coat splines with an anti seize lubricant (permatex). Is this ok or should I use regular grease or oil?

Also, do I need to perform the initial settings procedure after I replace the motor? I did unplug the ECU connectors.
