My brothers and I were talking about going to the Red River (Texas/OK border) and taking our Honda Ranchers. Anyone ever done any riding here? Any tips, rules, or laws we need to know. I assume it's the regular stuff, ohv sticker, helmet....do you need a safety course to ride there?

It's a private riding area. You need to be a member. Short term memberships are not very expensive. Day rates also apply. Call them at 940 995 2903. It is a lot of fun. Huge area. Very diverse terrain.

The place we went to was public land just outside of Waurika, OK. It was some great riding in the river beds as well as several trails to play on. Had a lot of fun. Will definitely be going back.

I don't know about that place. I do know that if the land owner catches you, they have a lot of authority in the law. Also stay out of the Red River. There are many ongoing arguments concerning property lines with the changing channel of the river. You don't want to get caught up in a pre existing fight over property rights and borders etc.......
