anyone know if the rear axle slides out without having to take the rear apart? and if so are they any proble to re-install. I am new to this forum so lets see if it works, thanks for any help --Keith in VA.
Thanks for your reply--Its a 2003 Honda 250 recon---I read a thread on another site that seemed to say remove the wheel hub and then the big nut up near the differental and the axle would slide out the other side. However there were not many details. It looked like a lot of parts inside the rear that would have to line up to reinstall it. Just wondered if someone had some experience with this.
I havent since mine is chain driven but im posative someone on this forum will be ale to help you. I would suggest that you get a service manual that will be your save and grace.
