Carbs relatively simple but I would suggest a manual to help you along

ahh ok i got this honda 300 form an old friend with swamper vampire tires on it already for $300 timing chain was only known problem, but it hasnt been cranked in 6 years so im replacesing timing chain, rings, and gaskets in engine for starters then ill move on to other probs, but i figured not bad buy tires worth that much alone.

true tires are expensive. you might want to invest in new filters too. and clean out the tank.

K&N is good alot of riders here prefer Uni filters also

K&N is ok if you are not riding in dusty conditions, i run UNI foam filters clean and reoil every ride when i pulled the motor down you can still see the crosshatch in the cylinder and it has a lot or hard track hours on it .
