2002 Honda trx300ex

The piston was fried so I purchased a Wiseco Piston kit that is .50 over the standard bore. I have all ready had the cylinder bored and honed for the new piston. The Connecting rod doesn't have any movement up and down, I even took the side off of the and grabbed the fly wheel to make sure the crank didn't have any play itself. So i think my rod and crank bearings are fine. I am also installing a Hot Cams stage 1 cam and a Dyno jet kit. I also have a super trapper exhaust "don't know if that's good or not it came with the bike", and a K&N airfilter.

1. What type of oil should I use for the break in oil and when should I change the break in oil.

2. What break in procedure should I follow since the CAM and Piston are new.

3. What oil should I use for daily riding after the break in oil has been drained out.

4. What jet setup do you believe would be best?

The pic is the piston that cam out of the bike.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry I forgot. The Stage 1 Hot Cam is made to work with the factory rockers. I don't think it's until you really get into the race cams that you have to worry about the hard faced rockers.

Yeah, that's correct. The stage 1 uses stock rockers and valve springs.
