I searched and couldnt find anything. I bought a 2002 400ex today and I dont have a tail light on it. Does every 400ex come wired for a tail light? There should be a harness I can plug into right?
Yeah, they all have a taillight. I think 2005-up has the taillight/brake light combination.

I saw two wires near the battery with what looks like the female ends for the plugs you pictured. Must be the tail light connections.
One wire should be green and the other wire should be brown.

Yep...I think I found them. They arent very long though. I guess the wires from the actual light are longer. Or maybe it just was stuffed in there. I have my 16 month old daughter here right now so I wasnt able to take a close look because I cant take my eyes off her in the garage.
