I have a honda rancher and i dont know much about them that being said the problem I'm having is this when im riding the rear end acts like its swaying from side to side like it isnt catching traction.... Someone please help

Welcome to the forum, is this a 350 or 420, what year is it? When you say swaying is this from the machine itself or between tyre and surface?

OP, you really should pay attention to the header in each section ?, it clearly says '' before posting, please read '' !!. we can't read your mind, YOU MUST GIVE US THE FULL MAKE/MODEL, AND YEAR OF WHAT YOUR ASKING ABOUT !. my crystal ball is in the shop getting its oil changed !..lol. ya know how many rancher models are out there ?????. lol. but to answer your question..if I had to guess ?, it could be anything from your rear end differential bearings and axle bearings ?, too the swing arm bearings ?.
