Got this for $800. Rides fine because the back end. I suppose it was worth the money I paid for it. They even delivered it. (Hour and a half trip) Anyways, went riding today and noticed my back end shakes when getting at high speeds. On the right side of the chain sprocket in the back end, it seems as if there is a gap. You can hold the handle bars and move the quad back and forth and see it. Would this be the bearing casing? If so, how much would it cost to fix? Would it be best to fix it myself? Anyone got any PDF links for 300EX Repair Manual? Please answer. Don't tell me I need new tires though, I already know that! =P

Also, how much would it cost to put a shorter back axle on it? I've got that extended one and it looks like shit. Back wheels still out so much farther than the front ones.

your bearings are shot..replace them..as far as the axle goes..you can either go to ebay..or oem..which means dealer item..that will cost ya !..lol..i'd try ebay first for a stock axle..as far as the bearings go..new..they will run you about 45 to 50 bucks each..yes..it takes a set for the back..one on each side..you might get them off ebay to pretty cheap..and yes..fix it yourself..save you about 60 bucks or more an hour if the dealer does it..it's not hard to replace the bearings..which ever ones you get your hands on..make sure to repack them with new grease before you install them..hope this helps.

Do u kno what kind of axle that is and the length of it? Cuz if ur looking to go back 2 stock im looking to go wider. Maybe we can work a deal?

It looks like a g force to me.Thats what I have.+7.5 inches wider.And I've never replaced bearings in a unit.Just buy a new carrirer.I got mine for like $90 brand ne.And a little info.The 350x bearing carriers are the same as the 250x and 300ex.
