Ranger 350 blowing 10 amp ign fuse in 3rd

Hello. New to the forum. I have a 2003 trx350fm that keeps blowing the ignition fuse whenever it's shifted into 3rd gear. I've tried disconnecting the carb heater, but there's obviously a short to ground somewhere. It's odd that it's only when going into 3rd. Anybody else had any experience with this? Thanks.

I would say gear position switch or cable somehow involved. Download service manual from my links below and check out ignition system diagnostics tree in chapter 20
