Hello. New to the forum. I have a 2003 trx350fm that keeps blowing the ignition fuse whenever it's shifted into 3rd gear. I've tried disconnecting the carb heater, but there's obviously a short to ground somewhere. It's odd that it's only when going into 3rd. Anybody else had any experience with this? Thanks.

JMC - I just signed up on here to find a solution because mine is doing similar. Blown twice now. I'll need to check today whether it has to do with the gear. I do know I was in 3rd the last time it blew - not sure about the first. Took me a while the first time to find the blown fuse. I pulled them and checked but on the first check I didn't see that it was blown.

- I have a 2006 Rancher 350 es
- Ignition fuse (10A) is blowing
- after blowing the neutral and reverse lights come on at same time ( posting this symptom because I found an older post where someone said it's not possible)
- the gear indicator displays --
Hoping someone can help by pointing out a common issue known to blow the ignition fuse

One additional thing - it's not the gear position switch - I've had that issue before and have a spare - Already swapped it.

Thanks in advance for any advice or help
