I have a 2002 Honda Rancher 350 4x4 ES. The battery is dead and it's stuck in gear. I need to put it in neutral so I can move it.

I tried the manual foot shifter attachment, but I'm not sure how to find neutral.

Help?

Also, what are my options (if any) if the manual shifter won't do the job?

THanks.

Use the emergency shifter to manually shift by rotating it counterclockwise

Not too hard–you shouldn’t have to use much more than 5 lbs torque. It should click. Neutral is the last position down
High gear is last position rotating clockwise
Sometimes you have to rock it a little and go up 1 to go down

X2 to what goober says. Also, you'll know it's in neutral when it rolls much easier :devil
