I have a 2003 Rancher 350 ES manual. When cold it will fire right up, but once it gets warm it will shut its self off and then when I press the ignition button it won't do a thing. The Neutral light will not longer be lit up and the red oil light will be the only thing lit up. If I let it sit for awhile and cool down it will fire right back up again until it warms up and it will shut off again. It has a new solenoid and battery. I am mechanically incline, but I have never worked on an ATV before. Please help, where should I start?

Have you checked the oil level?

when you say get';s warm, HOW warm/hot are you talking
they do have a oil temp sensor that when oil gets to a certain temp it will shut the motor off and NOT allow to re start till it drops below the set temp to shut it down!

low oil level can cause excessive heat real fast as can running lean, and possibly even valves not adjusted correctly!
what does the spark plug look like?
