I have never use a torque wrench when putting on the lug nuts. Just tighten them up as tight as you can get without using excessive force. Check them after the 1st hour or so of riding.
I torque everything to spec...on a 180 mph machine it can mean the difference between life and death. My habits will carry over to my quad too. No ideas?
I don't have a 420 Rancher service manual, but in the 350 Rancher service manual, it is 47 ft-lbs. I also looked in every other Honda utility service manual that I have and it is 47 ft-lbs in all of them, so I would say that it would be 47 ft-lbs for the 420 Rancher, too.
