Hi everybody! I don’t know why Honda never offered the independent rear suspension with a manual foot shift. So I bought 2 2016 420’s, a solid axle foot shift with power steering and the delux model. Switched motors and wiring harness. I also had to swap front diffs because the foot shift model doesn’t have the speed sensor. The tricky part was that the rear driveshafts had to be modified. One an 1” longer and the other 1” shorter than stock. This was due to the output shaft difference between engines. Other than that they both work perfect.

Myself I much rather have the electric shift.
My 2005 rancher still going strong all these years..
Just recently bought a 420 foot shift.
I don't like it.. so wish I had bought the electric shift instead.
