welcome to the forums..look on ebay first..then craigslist..if that doesn't pan out..try doing a google search for a salvage yard for atv's around your area. just did the same thing with my 2000 trx350tm rancher..bent connecting rod..this must be a weak link in these bikes..been seeing alot of this around here. before you go tearing it apart..make sure you purchase a service manaul for this bike.

i take it..it's got a fan for the oil cooler ?..if this is the case..helmut from here has stated..these atv's melt the pistons and such..because the fans block the engine from being cooled right..and the oil temp sensors go out..or don't work very good..sooo..now you know why your connecting rod and piston is gone...the 4x4 models only seem to have this problem..the 2wd ranchers dont have the fan..sooooo..the engine isn't being blocked from air with the fan in the way...and for 200 bucks..you got a damn good deal..now if you can either find another crank..( this is what i just did on my 2wd )..or another engine..you can rebuild it...do a google search for atv salvage yards..loads of them all around !

When you get it fixed, better check your thermal sensor. I have seen the thermal sensor go bad on a lot of 350 Ranchers and cause the fan not to kick on and melt the piston and rings. On the other hand, since yours didn't have any oil in it, not having any oil was obviously what happened to yours, but I would still check the thermal sensor when you get it fixed.
