I just traded for a Rancher 350 4WD. It had about 1100 miles and about 110 hours. It rode out fine for the first 75 miles an all at once, after hitting a water hole the engine just died. Now it will start fine but will not accept gas any faster than an idle. Has anyone expierenced this? Does anyone have any suggestions. I would appreciate any and all suggestions.

Is it backfiring or anything like that. Check the air filter coil and wires may have got water in a connection. But I have been wrong moore than once.

Thats what I meant. Water can cause all kinds of problems. The wife's 300 acts up after I set it up on the back wheels and PSI wash it I let it idle for a while and it clears up.

Dielectric grease all the connections going to the coil.

Sounds like great places to start. I apprecieate all the advice given. Do any of ya'll ever ride in WV? There are some great trails and good people always welcoming to out of towners.
