ok starting out my wife has came to me and wants to race wheelers!!! but wants to be able to ride it normally, i do dirt drag and she wants to do it also so i chose a 300ex to start her out. well she has mastered all there is for stock power and i know she's gonna need more to hang with the big dogs coming next year so i found a few items for instance a 330cc big bore kit. hey it's a starter wheeler what do ya expect...but my worry is how is cooling going to be on it..for instance i run a yfz 450 and i have the athena kit which has larger jackets to cool it down and there desciption tells me nothing all it says is it sends you a new cylinder it is made by jci racing. any 300 fans out there please give me some tips.

I have seen the 300 ex built up with a 330 kit. The boy up the road has one. It runs well. All stock platform frame, wheels suspension.. It has a 330 kit a FmF exhaust aftermarket air box, simple bolt ons. I never have raced him with my 400ex but he is probly faster than me any ways hes 15 and Im 29. Kids are crazy. He runs the HELL out of that quad and it has held up for a year or so.

A 330 big bore kit, cam, carb, and rev box. These mods should make your 300ex run with a 400ex.

If they make a larger oil cooler I would get it. It would not hurt but I dont know of a company or anything

I understand. I will ask around. Maybe sometime We can get together. I love drag quads. There is a place in Etown called Central Kentucky Competition. David Brown is the Owner. A Friend of his by the last name of Saush comes in there every once and a while. He use to drag quads. The Phone #### is 1(270)735-7526. They may know something. Dave is a good guy and he does a lot of hairscrambles and trials but he gets around and hears alot.
