I have an 03 Rancher ES with a bad guage. I found a good deal on one on Kijiji but having a hard time figuring out the fitment. Some say it will only fit an 00-02 while some sites fit 00-06. Anyone have any insight?

Its a great deal so would really like if it worked haha

My understanding is 00-02 had a different setup, then 03-06 have their setup. So you want one from 03-06. They look similar, but I think more of the control is done in the meter with the 00-02's.
