On my Rancher AT just behind the rear brake disk wear the drive shaft goes into the differential on the left side of the quad, there is a L-shaped nipple sticking out of the side which seems to be lined up with the bearings. Mine faces backwards and about a 45 degree angle downwards. My dealer told me that he has the same quad and his is open as well but I don't trust him. Is there supposed to be a hose on this nipple?
Does anyone else with an 09/10 rancher at have a hose on there. The end of the nipple has a ball type end that would normally help to keep the hose on it.
