I was going to start up my 250 ex and it turned on i went to grab a a water when I came back i tried again but accidentally put on the jumper cables wrong it clicked nothing sparked just kinda popped and now it won't start lights don't work neutral light doesn't work I'm not sure where to start does anyone know what I should check or replace?

Check the fuses, you likely blew the main 30 amp one.

I did that on my 88 fourtrax. I changed the 15 amp fuse by the battery and it was fine.
