I have a Honda 420, sometimes the push button start just makes a clicking noise.. to start with we thought it was the battery so we replaced it, however the problem is still there. It doesnt not have a pull cord but we can pull start it with another vehicle... I am trying to figure out if it is the solenoid or the starter.. Thanks for your help

The clicking should be the solenoid. Instead of wiring a hi amp circuit directly into the ignition switch, a low amp circuit is used to switch on the solenoid, which then energizes the high amp starter circuit.
If what you hear is the solenoid clicking it is switching on.
I would look elsewhere in the high amp starter circuit for loose connections or corrosion on the leads. Before replacing the starter

"Sometimes? Meaning the starter works sometimes?"

That sounds like a starter but I would clean off the starter leads just to make sure a dirty connection isn't creating an intermittent connection
