You need to take the carb off and clean it.

ok i will give that a shot tomorow. what should i clean it with and how?
I clean them with carb cleaner and an air hose. After you remove the carb bowl, remove the float and float needle, the slow jet, the main jet, starter jet, and pilot screw. When removing the pilot screw, don't loose the tiny o-ring, washer, and spring and watch how they come out so you will know how to put them back. They are tiny. Also, before removing the pilot screw, turn it all the way in until lighted seated, counting how many turns it takes. This way you can put it back to where it was originally set.

Now clean all those parts that you removed. You can use a small, stiff wire or a wire from a wire brush to unclog the jets if they're completely stopped up. Hold the jets up to a light and make sure you can see through them good. Clean the float valve and valve seat. Now, blow out all the passageways in the carb body with an air hose. Clean the bottom of the bowl out real good and clean the carb body and reassemble all the parts and turn the pilot screw to the original setting.
