It won't rev up all the way? You can't go over 3? Do you have a Yamaha?J/k

Could be CDI shorting out could be tranny/clutch... Those are my first 2 guesses.

Fouled plug clogged fuel filter clogged tank vent CDI could be any one of those things.

Are there any flashing icons on the screen? Trans could be in fail safe mode.

Good Oooo Markus. Glad you got her going again (most likely not as glad as you?) The great thing is you jumped in and fixed something that I don't believe is a common problem? Now you taught us all a thing or two as well.

So next time when a person has a problem similar to the one you had. You can tell them about your encounter with the twisted out of place spring.

The common problem with trying to help out is it's really hard to diagnose without looking at and listening to something when it's not doing what it's supposed to. Although we all try in vain, unless we live close by it's usually the person who owns the ATV that has to diagnose it and fix it. And you did just that.

Great Job! Oh, and Thanks for bringing the problem and the fix to us for future use if it's ever needed again?
