HI i have a 87 250x and i noticed it had been running funny lately. Now it wont start unless its fully choked, it wont idle at all and it will die if i don't keep the throttle way up... i took of and cleaned the air filter and i also tried adusting the idle screw thing... It worked perfectly fine before this and now its almost un-rideable. Help?

Welcome to the forums. Your carb needs to be taken off and cleaned. Sounds like the idle circuit is stopped up.

Thanx ill try this but how much would it set me back to take it in to someone to do it?
*Ok ive gotten the carb almost of how do you disconnect the throttle cable?

I'd say the carb needs cleaned but you could have a bad intake boot.
