My issue is the plug that plugs into the my voltage regulator was destroyed an I need to know is there any order in the pin out of the three yellow wires that comes from the stator. I have asked several shops an none of them have been able to answer this an I was hopping that some from this forum could any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, what are you working on? There might be a fourth wire (different color) depending on the system. Do you have a used plug that you intend to wire up (soldering & weatherproofing) right, so you can simply plug it in when you are done? Do you have an ohm meter or a multimeter handy?

The service manual is likely to show the wiring/pin placement for every connector. There is a link in my sig block below for most machines before 2011

Here ya go... I looked up your bike from your previous thread (400 Foreman right?) on this issue, so then I looked up the ignition & charging circuits in the FSM for you as well.

The stator is wound with a Star topology, so all you have to do is match any yellow wire coming from the stator, with any yellow wire going to the regulator/rectifier. See the attached images...

No I did not win the wiring diagram dose not show what the pin out is. What would be nice if someone could post a pic of one so I could see the actual color code

If I’m reading correctly, retro looked it up and found out that as long as a yellow wire goes to a yellow wire then that is fine. You should have all yellows, yes?

So yellows to yellows, any order. Any other colour to the matching colour ;-)

From left to right on the bottom are all three of your yellow stator wires now on the top two pins you have a red an you have a green now my question is from left to right which wire gose on pin one on the top row. Please see the attached pic.
