I have heard that it is possible to put 400ex plastics on a 300ex ( anything is possible if you screw w/ it long enough) but if anyone has done it or knows how to could you give me a run through....tired of my plastics

I think someone on here did that, but I can't remember who it was.

Yeah there was a guy on here who did it and it looked pretty sharp he had to make a bracket to hold the front up was all. it looked good IMO
