I've had an 03 250ex with few mods. '86 Big red 250 in pristine condition, brother had a '86 trx70 fourtrax in pristine condition, 2005 trx 400ex, and now my dad has a 2005 TRX 450r (BEAST).

Most quads that get riden r not perfect. Plus it has a few years on it. Is that original plastic. Ever had a rebuild?

As far as i know they are original plastics the front is race cut ofcourse the guy who used to own it Raced TT with it that's why it so wide. The engine is not stock it's completely rebuilt some of the stats are in my signature. I run 104 racing fuel anything less it starves for torque, I weigh 260 lbs at 6'4 adn it carries my big tail extremely well. It will actually outrun a 300ex with bolt on mods and a jet kit. my neighbor has one that's how I know. I raced him about a quarter mile and had about 4 bike lengths on him until abut the last 100 feet then he started gaining on me. for a 250 it's pretty fast I'd say, However I am looking to upgrade my suspension so it will ride smoother since I'm so heavy. got any inexpensive suggestions??

Try looking up some 450R shocks I have a set for my 400 but have not put them on yet. I dont know if they will fir but they may and They are nice shocks for the price the rear you sould get it revalved maybe but after market stuff is so EXP! So nothing is a good deal but the 450R shocks on the front would be good because they have way more adjustability that the 250X shocks.

Aftermarket prices SUCK!! the cheapest ones I found so far were in Dennis Kirk for like 445.00 for just the front. I'll ask my guy on Ebay that I talk to he deals only with honda Atv parts 250,300,350,400,450r ect ect. he has a great feedback record look for his store on there GDH RACING. fast responses too.
