The "Proper" way to take images with your phone is in landscape. That's how manufacturers design them.

Take images with your phone sideways (Usually volume buttons down, or home button on the right) but you can also edit them within your phone when you view them by cropping them slightly which seems to work as well.

Thanks for all the help. I'll try some of this out. I got 1 pic to remain oriented as taken but it was 1 I copied and saved and the resolution was really bad. Thanks again
I tried the cropping and it worked great. Thanks for the help.
