The plastics on those 250s was real easy to crack, especially when it was cold out. They have really improved the plastics in the fenders over the years.

I don't know much about compatibility either. however if you find out if they will work or can be made to work, the starter is good, the racks are in fairly good shape. plastic, eh, not so good. rear axle is good too.

I do have pictures of the bike however I am currently out of town until Sunday. And I'm not really sure how to post them up onto the forum. As far as selling the thing as a whole, I would really rather not. I should be able to get more money this way. Plus, wheels and tires are already gone! :)

The motor is complete. I just pulled it out yesterday. Hopefully I will start dissassembling it in the next few days. I have a local guy who wants to buy the output gear case.... which requires like complete engine dissassembly. As far as I know, the piston, cylinder and everything are good. I will have to verify that it doesn't have bent valves as it is possible the timing jumped as far as the crank could move. The tie rods are in good shape. I replaced the outers and the center pieces aren't bent or anything. I believe the inners are okay as well but I will check tonight when I get home.
