2002 Honda rancher 350FE. Okay got the OEM carb, installed would you recommend turning gas off and running the bowl dry or just shut gas off when not in use. Trying to avoid the needle valve leaking for as long as possible. Been through brakes, wheel bearings, fuel system top to bottom, new OEM carb, changed all fluids. Now just crossing my fingers I get a fair amount of use before anything else shows up.

this might come down to HOW long does it sit between use?
as if you run things dry and it sits for months or weeks, it can dry things up in a carb and that alone can cause issue's
so, double edge sword here IMO

if it gets used rather often , I would go with running things dry, peacock off and run till it stoop's or JUST before it starts to idle up due to low fuel! this way there is a LITTLE fuel in there but not much!
