we have this old fourtrax 300 that won't turn over. It has been used very little in the last ten years. Basically started and drove around the yard a bit and parked again. It always started right up, until this year. We are not sure if someone tried to steal it or what. The seat and kick start cover had both been taken off but not replaced properly as they were both loose. The batery is charged and when the key is turned on, lights come on, but it won't turn over with the starter. Turn the key on and kick it, starts first kick. Any ideas what a possible thief could have done to make the starter button not work? Thanks, Don

Are you sure you're in neutral? You could try jumping the starter solenoid to make sure the starter motor is good.
