Looks like a perfect project for you, retro, or DuckofDeath to me. :grina tad rough looking, but its great to see these old girls !.
ummmmmmm..noooooooooo !!!!!!!!!!..lol. i've got plenty of these old girls at my buds place to restore, IF I WANTED TOO ?!...LOL.Looks like a perfect project for you, retro, or DuckofDeath to me. :grina tad rough looking, but its great to see these old girls !.
my bud has a TRX350D at his place, plastics are in great shape, missing carb and some other parts, but its in really good shape for its age. pretty sure it is the trx350D foreman, as it has the fuel gauge on the inner right fender.I'd love to find an '87 350D in good, restorable condition! But I'm very fussy about plastics (everything else can be fixed one way or another), so that ain't likely to ever happen. :-(
Its great to see many of those old tanks are still working though.
you want super mint condition, you better buy brand new plastics..oh wait...you can't !!..lol.Arkansas is too far to travel for my old bones. If all plastics are super mint condition I might sleep on it tho.![]()
maiers plastics are a rip off !. they are not even factory close all the way !. they leave out the trunks, and no outside mud splash guard holes to mount them, the whole fender is made into a solid fender. wayyyyyyyyyy over priced for after market, then again, if you want new fenders for the old trx350's ?, they do sell them.I don’t think I’ve ever seen NOS fenders for the 350’s, someone must be hoarding a set somewhere. Can always buy those maier fenders I guess, would be better than nothing.

I know they aren't great, that's why I said "better than nothing" lol. I don't think the 350 plastics they make are as bad as the 300 plastics. The 300's are down right hidious.maiers plastics are a rip off !. they are not even factory close all the way !. they leave out the trunks, and no outside mud splash guard holes to mount them, the whole fender is made into a solid fender. wayyyyyyyyyy over priced for after market, then again, if you want new fenders for the old trx350's ?, they do sell them.I don’t think I’ve ever seen NOS fenders for the 350’s, someone must be hoarding a set somewhere. you are correct, better than nothing. I seen a rear fender ( nos ) for an old trx350 awhile back on ebay, just the plain, bare rear fender, sold for $ 1,500.00 !!!!.I know they aren't great, that's why I said "better than nothing" lol.
