In the US, the electric shift came out with the digital display and the foot shift didn't. By looking at the wiring diagrams for the two models, the wiring is different and I don't see any optional plugs, so I doubt if you can add a digital display. For some reason, the Canadian foot shift models came out with a digital display, but the wiring is different than the US foot shift models.
