Greetings, I hope someone can help me! I recently started having a problem with my honda trx500 2008 and the problem is this: One morning when I went to turn it on by the ignition button when I hit the ignition button it did not start and started giving 4 flash in the light that indicates the 4x4 and from there on does not turn me on by the button just turn me on manual !!!! but it keeps that code like it has something in the system to turn bad !!! If someone has had a similar problem and can help me, I will appreciate it! Thank you

well I would suggest getting yourself a service manual, either a free down loaded one, or a hard copy paper back one, it will come in handy down the road, and tlel you what the code/flashes mean!

next I would say this, any atv that sits often, can have a LOW battery ,. bad battery, due to these things draw power when parked
next if modern fuel starts to go bad in weeks NOT months
so when an atv sits , you end up with many things already going against you!, BAD fuel, low battery power and BOOM you have starting and running issue's
SO< unless you keep your battery on a maintainer, and you TREAT every tank of fuel
you can have issue's
if you didn;t have things on battery maintainer, I suggest charging battery to make sure its at a full charge!
if fuel has been in tank long, I'd suggest draining old fuel out, inspecting the inside of the tank to make sure its clean and then starting off with NEW fuel
and see what happons!
