Hi all! New to this board. I'm hoping someone can shed some light on an issue.

After washing the TRX, it didn't start. The diode located in the seat compartment with the battery tests bad. Jumped it out and still nothing. The green indicator light for neutral is out. Have jumped from battery to starter and it turns.

Any ideas? I still need to check more circuits. We do have the Clymer manual with wiring diagrams. Oh, and the fuse tested good.

This is a TRX 250 EX, 2006 model year.

Any help would be appreciated!

when you washed it..did you use a pressure washer ??..i bet you knocked the neutral wire off the neutral switch down on the right side of the engine..near the foot rest..i think it's behind the metal cover like on all the trx300's ???..if so..check that..you won't get spark until the bike ( c.d.i knows ) it's in neutral.
