Hi everyone. Never posted before but here it goes. I have a 2013 Honda Rancher 420 4x4. It is EFI. It's been running normally, starts well, etc. We were doing a couple service items on it before a ride we are taking and we took the spark plug out to check it. It looked horrible. We cleaned it some and reinstalled it. Now it wouldn't start or pop at all. Cranks hard, fuel pump is on (we can hear it), etc. Just won't start We bought a new spark plug and put it in. Same story. We checked for spark and it sparks fine. Then we install it and nothing. We shot a little starting fluid on the air filter to test if it was a fuel issue and still nothing. Just cranks and cranks. I wonder if when the plug is installed if it stops sparking because of some loss of current or grounding issue. Any ideas would be great. Thanks.

Hey sorry it took so long to get back on here. We found out the yellow boot that clicks onto the spark plug was cracked and the spark was jumping outside the boot. We taped it up and it works great. Planning to order a new boot. Thanks for the input
