I am wondering if anyone has come across this issue before.

My key was accidentally left on for a unknown amount of time draining the battery on my 07 TRX420Tm Initially tried to jump it off but realized was not getting the Fi light when I turned the key. I purchased an atv trickle charger and was able to recover the battery. However still no Fi light and there is no sound coming from the fuel pump.

I purchased fuel pump relay and installed it to no avail. I checked voltage with a multi meter from the relay to the fuel pump and got nothing. Turned the key while electrodes were in place still nothing.
Does anyone have any other suggestions??

Did you check your new relay, it does work? Have you tested the fuel pump separately by by-passing everything else? Do you have power from the ignition when turned on? Is the fuel pump circuit fused?
I’m not so well educated on the 420’s so nothing in particular springs to mind, the FSM and wiring diagrams would help you a lot though I’m sure.

Depending on the condition of the cells in your battery and because it was totally discharged, a trickle charger may not be enough. Consider using a 25 amp charger for a good charge. Most trickle chargers are good for maintaining a battery but at 1.5 amps I do not think that is enough to fully charge a flat battery.
