I have a 300 fourtrax, it will start with kick start but not with electric . I have done a load test on the battery,replaced the starter solenoid ,new starter and new one way bearing. The starter spins the flywheel,but won't start.

Please help

I would pull the plug and hold it to the engine and see if your getting spark. And then do the same when kicking it over and see if spark looks the same for both. Im wondering if the draw caused by the starter is causing the spark to either stop completely or be weakened. But you got a weird problem here for sure.

you may..or may not know ?, but the 1996 trx300fw came from the factory with a defective c.d.i. in them !. they would start by kick starting them, but would not start by the electric start at all !. what they would do, and this is still a common issue today !, if you lay the spark plug on the cylinder/engine, try starting it with the push button, while doing this, you would see it would only spark on the spark plug one or two times, JUST AS YOU LET OFF ON THE START BUTTON !. this tells me, the c.d.i. is bad !.
