Eaglekeeper, did you ever figure it out? I am having the same problem.

I have 2012 Honda Rancher 420. Same problem. Riding down road and quits. Battery good. No bad fuses . Faint neutral light comes on after awhile.Cleaned all cables. Eaglekeeper, how did you solve your problem?

How old is the battery? Have you load tested it?

Couple weeks old. I call it NEW. I have not done a load test on it. I do not have a battery tester. It tests at 12.6 volts with multimeter. Its hot.
Solenoid tests good. I am leaning strongly to key switch but this is not my bike and hate to buy new switch and it not be the problem. I suppose I could try and figure switch wiring and check continuity through the switch???? What bothers me though is the dim dash lights that go out after few seconds. Which means I will get some continuity through switch. I will double check ground wire and make sure we do not have a bad one.The starter has been replaced. thus there has been some electrical issues before with atv before this.
