honda reubacon runs great but after warming up if it is shut down it will not crank. let cool off starts immediately and runs fine
i put it in the shop and let it run for half an hour, fan comes on and off to cool the motor as it should. When it got to the point of no crank again i tested the wire at the starter, when the start button is pushed it read 12.4 volts, I poured some water on the starter and it came to life and started the bike? Does this suggest a new starter is needed? I posted this in another area but maybe wasn't proper

You can remove starter and pull cover off to inspect brushes. May be worn and starter in need of rebuilding. Consult a battery shop mine here in town rebuilds starters you may have to buy them the rebuild kit.
Check out the OEM parts finders on Rocky Mountain atv and Partzilla
